The kids who attend Allandale Heights Public School in the future will have shaded areas to play in, thanks to the staff at the RBC branch on Bryne Drive. Staff from the branch came to the school with five maple trees and a cherry tree that they planted in the rear of the school. Students, Cameron Bye, front left, and Jazzia Cameron, front right, were joined by, back left to right, Sandy Steeves, Gail Cavens, Jessica Oliveiria, Mark Frechette, Jacob Harvie, Derek Dean, all from RBC, Heather Smith, school principal and Len Punkley, VP. “The bank branch has sort of adopted us and does a lot of thins with the school, including fundraising and helping out with the breakfast program,” Smith said.
